Gary Riley
Technical Manager

When did you start working with Club Systems?
I started working for the company in September 1998

Have you always been Technical Manager?
No, I have worked in nearly every department across the business in my time with CSI. I started in support before becoming the Support Manager for a number of years. I also worked in technical sales and as part of the development team before looking after installations and now the technical side of Club Systems.

Are you a golfer?

Yes, I played a lot of golf in my early teens and rediscovered a love for the game after joining Club Systems. Nowadays I am a very casual golfer but I play as often as I can.

I played a number of sports growing up and was a keen footballer. I also have a passion for Snowboarding.

What is your favourite golf course?
I really enjoyed the South Course at La Manga.

What ruins your round?
I tend to start and end rounds poorly but the middle bit is generally pretty good. Consistently inconsistent!

Who would be in your perfect fourball?
I honestly would say my dad, uncle and cousin, boring I know but if pushed I would say; Stan Lee, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jake Burton Carpenter. (Not sure how much golf they played though!)

Tell us something about yourself that we probably don't know?
I have been on TV a few times; at primary school on a Saturday morning tv show, once playing junior football, another time before a Manchester United European Cup match and finally stood behind Tiger on the tee at the Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes in 2012.
