Lucy McPherson
Accounts Manager

When did you start working with Club Systems?

Sept 2016

Have you always been Accounts Manager?

No, I started as an apprentice doing a business administration course. I always knew that I wanted to venture more into an accounts role and thankfully the business allowed me to fulfil that. Over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience which allowed me to progress through the business and in my role, as well as completing my AAT studies. After my apprenticeship I progressed into an administration assistant role, which then progressed into a senior accounts administrator role. Then at the end of 2021, the opportunity arose for the Accounts Manager position which I gladly accepted.

Do you play any sports/what are your hobbies?

I have always had a love for dance, and when I was younger did a lot of modern Morris dancing and street dance. More recently I have a keen interest in the gym & fitness, as well as trying better myself by doing the ‘Couch to 5k’ challenge.

What is your favourite restaurant and why?

One of my favourite restaurants would either be Fazenda or Rudy’s which are both pretty much on our door step in Manchester. The food at Fazenda is a winner for me and I have never had a disappointing trip, Rudy’s has a lovely atmosphere not to mention the brilliant pizzas!

Which three people would you love to invite to dinner?

Amy Winehouse, David Bowie & Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Tell us something about yourself that we probably don't know?

For a number of years I was a part of a street dance group who performed at the Lowry Centre in a yearly competition against other groups from all over Manchester & the surrounding areas.
