Our Clubsites are SSL ready. (And Included*)

The move to HTTPs is an essential and long-overdue improvement to security of the internet.  SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a standard security protocol which establishes encrypted links between a web server and a browser, thereby ensuring that all communication that happens between a web server and browser(s) remains encrypted.  With HTTPs members and visitors trust your site because they can see data they submit is encrypted and cannot be intercepted.

Here at Club Systems, we use Certificate Signing Requests:

A CSR or Certificate Signing request is a block of encoded text that is given to a Certificate Authority when applying for an SSL Certificate. It is generated by us on the server where the certificate will be installed and contains information that will be included in the certificate such as the organisation name, common name (domain name), locality, and country.

If you request it via the CSICare support team, then we will supply you the CSR. A certificate authority will use a CSR to create your SSL certificate. You can then send us that certificate which we will install. then on the next software release of Clubsites, you will have an HTTPs website.

*Our legacy website support SSL certification but does not include an SSL certificate.
